Runnin’ Pardners is George Porter Jr’s own unique long term project. Well respected by audiences and promoters as a quintessential New Orleans band, the five piece touring band continues to receive accolades on the jam band and festival scene. George Porter Jr has assembled some seasoned and talented musicians to join him on this project. Familiar Pardners – Brint Anderson and, Michael Lemmler and rising stars on the New Orleans music scene Khris Royal and Terrence Houston. Excited about the future of this band and this CD, George Porter Jr. plans to keep a smile on his face.” I feel like I am working towards something that will be remembered.”

Formed in 2003, Dumpstaphunk was assembled by keyboardist Ivan Neville on a whim, to perform a solo slot at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Ivan chose the unique double-bass attack of both Nick Daniels and Tony Hall on bass, and enlisted his own bloodlines for the scorching guitar rhythms of cousin, Ian Neville. The project has since grown from a chance side-project into what is now widely considered to be one of New Orleans’ most prestigious modern funk ensembles. An offspring with a direct lineage to their fathers in The Meters and The Neville Brothers, Dumpstaphunk is a recipe for creating a new standard for an entire genre.

The theorem of turntablist as musician has been long proven in the capable hands of DJ LOGIC, whom with jazz as his foundation has become a wax innovator by crossing genres and sprinkling his sound across the map. As one of the world’s most accomplished turntablist’s, DJ LOGIC is widely credited for introducing jazz into the hip – hop realms and is considered by most as a highly respected session musician and an innovative bandleader.

Psychedelic Soul, sometimes called Black Rock, is a sub-genre of Soul music, which mixes the characteristics of Soul with Psychedelic Rock. It came to prominence in the late 1960s and continued into the 1970s, playing a major role in the development of Soul and Funk music.Over the past seven years, Monophonics have staked their claim as one of California’s premier bands.

Big Samis a driving force of urban funk. Ryan White, of the Oregonian, says he is “tight enough (and hot enough) to turn coal into a diamond!” Big Sam Williams, formerly the trombonist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, has been called “the top man on the slide trombone in the birthplace of jazz.” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Big Sam refuses to let the audience sit still. Big Sam’s signature dance moves and his distinctive trombone riffs, the energy level is high voltage when Big Sam takes the stage!

Jug Dealers hit the road in 2005 as an authentic old time jug band, wowing festival audiences, receiving a spotlight on NPR’s All Things Considered. Over the next 3 years they recruited some of the best talent from the SF Bay area, rapidly evolving into a larger, more sophisticated act. A mash-up of Classic American Roots, Neo-Soul, Improvisational Jazz, Funk, and Ragtime, their audio brews are steeped in tradition, yet continually new. Pushing the boundaries of modern music while paying homage to the past, the Dealers bring a freshness & relevance that appeals to audiences of all ages & genres.

AfroMassive is a new ensemble bringing the masses exciting new music with a mission to turn on your brain and make you get down. They are a collective of like-minded musicians looking to cultivate something uniquely different in our current diverse music scene. Rooted in Afrobeat and funk, they bring their own influences to the table; The improvisational nuances of jazz, elements of electronic music and hip-hop and other influences from sounds from around the world. Mixing heavy bass, driving beats, sweet synthesizers and an in-your-face horn section, the end result is a sultry concoction designed to move you body and your mind.

The BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand has it’s roots in the mountains of West Virginia but has already played in almost every U.S. state including Alaska and Hawaii in the past four years. Everyone sings in this young acoustic quintette, including Xander Hitzig, Justin Morris, Orion Hitzig, Matt Del Olmo, and Kat Fountain, who have been traveling to each big city and tiny holler to share their music.

KANEKOA is a six piece high energy, ukulele powered experience from the Northshore of Maui, Hawai’i. Playing together since 1999, Kanekoa melds elements of Hawaiian, Rock, Roots Reggae, Folk, Blues, & improvisation into a truly new sound. In Hawaiian the word KANEKOA (kah-ney-koh-ah) has its roots in the words kane (man) and koa (a sacred tree indigenous to Hawai’i), and translates into English as “a strong man or warrior.” Their sound is based on the as yet untapped potential of the electrified Hawaiian ukulele, and shaped by the land and culture of Hawai’i. Kanekoa has discovered a land of limitless musical possibility.

Walter Aipolani, better known as Bruddah Waltah, describes himself as “a Searider fo’ life!” referring to the Wai`anae school in his home town on the Leeward side O`ahu. He also has deep roots in Keaukaha, in the district of Hilo on Hawai`i Island, where he was born. His mo`okuauhau, his genealogy includes the Kanakaole and Jeremiah families. While Bruddah Waltah is highly accomplished in traditional Hawaiian music, he is most renowned as the “Father of HawaiianReggae.” Growing up in the music-filled community of Wai`anae, the traditional melodies of Hawai`i were part of the soundtrack of his life.

Afrolicious has established itself as both one of the most legendary weekly parties in San Francisco, and of the top live/electronic bands on the scene. Started as a weekly dance party featuring DJ’s and brothers Pleasuremaker and Señor Oz alongside percussionists, MC’s and horn players, and an amazing crowd from day one.

Maui’s first all black light burlesque troupe is here.  We use parody, burlesque, dance, song, and vaudeville to entertain and enlighten the world one flash at a time.  Born from the mind of Rachel Deboer and Next Level Theater Productions, the troupe works together collaboratively to create sexy and funny mini dance and theater scenes that usually involve the removal of the audience’s inhibitions”

Flashdrive is a live electronic/rock outfit based out of the North Shore of Maui Hawaii. Our goal is to have fun making music that people will have fun listening to. And of course get the dance floors moving. Enjoy and Aloha.

Known for their high energy, fancy footwork, and vibrant vocals, the cast of the Kit Kat Club Cabaret has been entertaining audiences with their vintage-inspired song & dance acts since 2009. This group of entertainers draws its inspiration from the style and sophistication of the 20’s and 30’s, the swinging 40′s, and the campy exotics of the 50’s and 60’s. These glamorous and indulgent bygone eras set the stage for the Kit Kat Club Cabaret. 

Maui Underground is “”Hyptronic Didgeridoo  Rock”, featuring Master Didgeridoo player ‘Alana Cini!’ Alana Cinihas brought the didgeridoo into many different genres of music.. i.e. Trance, Rock, Blues, Classical, East Indian, Jazz, African, Latin, and traditional Hawiian music. She’s performed with Frank Zappa’s Mothers Of Invention”, Steve Vai, and the Seatle Philharmonic.

MOTHxp will take you on a progressive and modern, instrumental musical journey. A mixture of TOOL-style musicianship and Cirque Du Soleil performance art, MOTHxp brings a captivating show. Founding members James Bowersox (drums) and James Hartman (guitars) created a soundscape that is truly original. They use their combined musical experience to create a sophisticated and at times, highly technical and powerful sound. At the live MOTHxp show expect to see any combination of belly dancers, aerialists, stilt walkers and more. Expect the unexpected as the band may show up in full body paint or dressed as ninjas or cowboys. A light and projection show completes the feast for the eyes. The MOTHxp experience will entertain the crowds, large and small, and leave them wanting more.

The Doctor Bonkers Show is an innovative blend of fluid juggling, wacky humor, visual spectacles and dangerous stunts. As seen with the Poetic Motion Machine, Eli will leave you laughing at the hilarity and marveling at the skill of his one-of-a-kind trickery. Dr. Bonkers incorporates machetes, clubs, balls, poi, plungers, balance, ball spinning, boxes, bounce juggling, glow-in-the-dark jams, fire, and audience interaction to bring you into a magical world all his own. Also specializing in live music improv juggling as seen with Hot Buttered Rum, The Bridge, Lafa Taylor, Nat Keefe Concert Carnival, and more.

Boogiemeister, aka Bionic Love Soundsystem, are the two musical projects of Adrian Blackhurst.
